The section titled “Browser Extension-Specific Privacy Provisions” applies only to information processed through the Extension. The remaining provisions of this Privacy Policy apply generally, except where a section expressly states otherwise.

Atakama does not use information processed through the Extension for targeted advertising or advertising profiling and does not disclose Extension data to advertising networks or data brokers.
The Extension is generally deployed in a managed business environment. The organization or MSP responsible for a user’s Atakama deployment determines which policies and features are enabled.
Authorized administrators may receive information regarding activity within managed browsers, including website and application usage, security events, policy actions, credential-security findings, and other security or compliance information.
Where Atakama processes information on behalf of a customer, MSP, or other organization, Atakama processes that information according to the organization's instructions and applicable agreements.
Because the Extension is generally managed by an employer, MSP, or other organization, users should contact the organization responsible for their Atakama deployment regarding applicable monitoring policies, requests to access or correct information, or changes to the configuration of the Extension. Atakama will respond directly to privacy requests where required by applicable law.
We do not sell personal information.
We may share information with service providers, advisors, and other parties that help us operate, host, secure, monitor, support, market, or provide our business, website, and services. Information processed through the Extension may also be shared with the organization or authorized MSP responsible for managing the user’s Atakama deployment.
We may also disclose information when required by law or valid legal process; where necessary to protect the security, rights, or integrity of Atakama, our customers, users, systems, or business; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of our business or assets.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, meet contractual and legal obligations, maintain security and operational records, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including appropriate access controls, authentication, encryption in transit, security monitoring, and secure software-development practices. However, no system is completely secure.

Atakama provides services primarily to businesses, MSPs, and other organizations. Information processed through our services may be governed by the applicable customer agreement and data processing terms.
Our services, including the Extension, are designed for organizational and business use and are not directed to children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, practices, or applicable legal requirements. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
